 Change, either positive
or negative, is always brought about by young people.
The vast majorities of
Young people are physically fit, mentally alert, socially adaptable and
maintain their quality of the life. They are the most energetic sector of
population, who has the most concern for change in the world. Young people
can be regarded as pillars of any nation if they proceed with a positive
mind and soul to bring a change in their prevailing society. When ever we
hear of any alteration in the political aspect, social aspect, economical
aspect or any other, the most energetic group of people are the ones
responsible. They can merge themselves into any type of environment
provided to them, and if they are unable to do so, they have the capacity
of bringing about a change in it. Because of this it becomes easier for
them as well as their fellow brings to live a satisfying life.
It is said that the
young are those who can consume fire and excrete coal. So powerful is
their determination that if they desire they can bring about a revolution
and cut out the dead wood to make a strong and just society. Young people
are enthusiastic. They are eager to find and explore new things. They have
many experiences in comparison to the previous generation. They have seen
how the world is moving towards progress and what the possibilities of
progress in the nation are. In this 21st century, the world is globalizing
because of science and technology. From the point of view of a youngster,
it has become so easy access information worldwide, which makes their
youthful appraisal mature before their time. The speed of change is ever
increasing and corporations around the world seek to revitalize, reinvent,
and resize in an effort to position and sustain them. The challenge is to
respond to new desires and opportunities which the youth are seeking for.
The new generation
always wants to cut off things which are the barrier to progress. Though
they have power to change the world, they face some problems from the
society. To overcome immense challenges in developing countries like
Nepal, they must confront problems which are created by the society’s old
cultural values. However, conservatives can take heart. Youth may be
addicted to foreign culture, their viewpoint today may be indifferent from
their western counterparts, but they do not find all the values in our
culture outdated.
There are many areas
where youngsters would do well to make changes. It is important to do away
with pollutants which have been the cause of the green house effect and
ozone depletion as well as pay attention to the agricultural requirements
of underdeveloped areas where they can make a huge difference with the
help of modern farming methods. At the same time they will have to make
changes in other fields like industry, commerce, technology, transport,
aviation, textiles, etc. in addition to serious efforts for maintaining
peace. These would be a giant step for the young toward developing their
society as well as world.
Respect is earned, and
youngsters should receive it for their contributions. Young people possess
a great deal of independence, responsibility and reliability. We await a
sea change which is bound to come when our young generation takes a
forward step in such fields.
Initiation
It is the fact that youths have place in the world for
the development and sharpening their talents and capabilities along with
the widening of their thinking horizons. For better going ahead, it
requires some fundamental things to comply with such as qualification,
skill and will power. The most essential thing is the confidence and
desire. Youth are the most worthy characters, have been those who where
dynamically enthusiastic over some particular aim and goals. For every
young generation enthusiasm is the propelling force that is necessary for
climbing the latter of success. To reach the present state of success of
freedom and equality youth had to wage for long.
To overcome the seen or unseen problems of youth, groups of youth from different sector form one forum and it is named as “Youth Change the World”.
Under the auspices of this campaign yearly discussion are held in
different sector to improve the lot of intricacy of
youth and to suggest better ways of achieving the goal.
Introduction to the Campaign
Youth Change the world (YCW),
a non profitable informal campaign towards developing a culture of youth
involvement, peace, volunteerism, and information society around the
world.
Specially, it maximizing youth participation to
excise for lasting peace in conflict areas to minimize
perplexity of human rights and maximize social
justice and good governance
with the partnership of different organizations.
It was established in 2007 and its motto
is “youth are the change maker of the society and the
world”. The ultimate goal is to conserve youth
leadership in every part of social life, and youth involvement in policy formation
level in national to international level.
The major duty of this organization is to investigate major disputes of
the youth and to take action by providing protection of the poor
contender. This campaign is actively involved in resoling problems as
we, the citizens of the world community have a responsibility to
enlighten youth and the people around us all about the significance of
the youth. It gives support to struggle for maintain social
awareness, upgrading their live standards, peace, justice and human
dignity in the youth.
Our Vision
YCW
enlightens the youth inspiring social ideas and brings to the
foreground some of the finest qualities of the young
people. The
national, international struggle has undoubtedly associated with this
organization. This will change a leadership, which has strong bonds with
the youth and rise to great heights of moral
courage and dedication.

Focus Area
The main focus of this organization is that the young
people to build up law on their side and make awareness of their
rights that has placed both urban and rural and create the situation from which there are easy
and honorable positions. Through this organization,
youth can raise their
voice against antisocial attribute. Youth are the real builders of nations. They are the founder of
home and the home is the foundation of the country. Thus, the power of the
nation is in the hands of young people. It is very rightly said, “The hand
that rocks the cradle, is the power that rules the world”.
